Jaci Steinberg :

Jaci Steinberg earned her BFA in drawing and painting from the University of Central Florida.  Since then she has shown her work locally, including at the Orlando Museum of Art's "1st Thursdays" and at OVAL Gallery (presently City Arts Factory).  In 2005 she exhibited a graphite drawing at the Hu Gallery at Palm Beach Community College in their annual national juried exhibition.

In addition to her acrylic on canvas fabric paintings, Jaci likes to draw graphite portraits, especially of pop culture figures.  She had a small portrait of Ellen DeGeneres displayed by the comedienne on her talk show in May of 2007, which Jaci likes to milk for all she can.

Jaci currently does a monthly stint at Café Tu Tu Tango as one of their residential artists, and recommends the hummus.

Some of proceeds from Jaci's work have gone to the Animal Rescue New Orleans, which cares for and attempts to find homes for pets who were displaced from Hurricane Katrina.  (www.animalrescueneworleans.org)
